Hi, my name's Dr Warrick Bishop and welcome to my Healthy Heart Minute. Today I'm gonna talk briefly about particle size of the low density lipo protein particle, or the LDL, the so-called bad cholesterol.

People talk about particle size, whether it's big, fluffy or small dents. There's no question that small dents LDL cholesterol is worse for you than large fluffy, but it's not that straightforward.

It is a complicated space, and it all ties in with the size of the pores within the artery walls that those particles can pass through. It also has issues to do with things like insulin and your diet.

So, LDL particle size, really important, quite complicated.

I've got a podcast attached to this short video. So, if you want more information about it, please check out that link to that podcast.

LDL particle size. Big, fluffy, good, small dents, not so good, but there's a whole lot of information in between.

I'm gonna wish you the very best. Take care and buy for now!
