Hi, my name is Dr Warrick Bishop and welcome to my Healthy Heart Minute. Today. I'm gonna talk a little bit about imaging the arteries.
Well, what does that mean? Imagine you're someone with high cholesterol and not really sure what's going on with your heart arteries, and whether you should be on cholesterol therapy or not.
One thing we can do is literally look at the arteries and get a better feel for what's going on. Imagine you're someone with a family history of premature coronary artery disease and you are wondering if you've got the genes that put you at risk as well. Well, we do have mechanism for imaging those arteries and having a clearer picture of exactly what's going on with you.
I have the absolute privilege of having an interview with Dr. Karam Kostner, a nationally and internationally recognized cardiologist.
